Your curriculum, laid out at each child's pace

Pick a program or add your own lessons, set where each child starts and how fast they go, and Yezbi puts the lessons on the calendar. When a day goes sideways, the plan moves with you.

A made-up family in the real app. No account needed, and nothing is sent anywhere.

Start with the curriculum you use

More than 150 programs, faith-based and secular, are ready to schedule, with a simple All, Faith-based or Secular filter.

  • Pick a program, set each child's starting point and pace, and Yezbi lays out the lessons, without typing out a year of lessons.
  • Using something else? Paste a list of lessons, or snap a photo of the table of contents and check what Yezbi read before anything is saved.
  • Mix both if you like: a built-in program for one subject and your own lessons for another.
  • Not sure where a child should start? Yezbi Placement offers a short, parent-guided check.

Each child at their own pace

Every child has their own starting point and pace for each course, so one can race ahead in math while another takes reading slowly.

  • Choose set weekdays, dated lessons, or simply the next lesson up with no dates.
  • Plan next week puts each course's next lessons on each child's days, or plan the year to the end of your school year.
  • See whether each child is on track or behind, and when they'll finish.
  • Set a subject loop for each child, or a family timetable such as math at 9 and reading at 10.
  • Finished early? Pull the next lesson into today.

When life happens, the plan keeps up

Sick days, surprise visitors and weeks that fall apart happen in every homeschool. Yezbi shows what will change, lets you choose, and lets you take it back.

  • Life happened: choose everything that isn't done or one course, and which children. Then push it forward a school day, do it on the next school day, or skip it.
  • A preview first: check each change and each course's new last lesson before anything moves, keeping each course in order.
  • Catch up after missed days: see where each child left off, mark the missed days off and move every course forward from the next school day.
  • Undo puts it all back.
Yezbi's Life happened sheet: choose everything not done or one course, and which children, then push it forward a school day, do it on the next school day, or skip it. A preview says 15 items will move to Thursday.

More tools for the week and the year

A school calendar that fits your year

Set your school days, terms, breaks and holidays. Add a break later and Yezbi previews the lessons that would land on it, then moves them off when you say so. Undo is there too.

Done is one less thing to write down

Mark a lesson done and attendance and records fill in on their own. Add the time spent, a note or photos if you like. More about records.

From yesterday

What wasn't done yesterday waits on Today, to mark done or bring into today. Lock an item's time and planning never moves it.

Space out the day or week

Too much back to back? Space out puts the time you choose between everything, on a day or across the days you pick.

Copy last week, and a theme

Copy last week into this one, skipping anything already there at the same time. Set the week's theme, and Discover follows it.

Year at a glance

The school year's months and courses on one page, beside Plan the year.

Get ready

The books, supplies and links the next two weeks call for, in one list, with Supplies to keep track of what you have.

Print a day or the week

Print a day, or the whole week, for the fridge or the clipboard.

Or ask

Ask Yezbi can move what a sick day missed, plan next week, space out a day, or mark everything done when a child finished the day.

How it works

  1. Add your children and their curriculum

Choose from the built-in programs, or add your own lessons by pasting a list or taking a photo of a table of contents.

  2. Set where each child starts

Pick the lesson each child is on, the days they do it and how fast they go.

  3. Let Yezbi lay out the week

Plan next week, or the rest of the year. When a day goes sideways, Life happened and Catch up move what's left forward, with a preview first and Undo after.

Questions about planning

Do I have to use a curriculum from your list?

No. The built-in programs save typing, but you can add your own lessons by pasting a list or taking a photo of a table of contents, and you can mix both.

Can each child go at their own pace?

Yes. Each child has their own starting point and pace for each course, and you can see whether they're on track or behind and when they'll finish.

We missed a whole week. Now what?

Catch up shows where each child left off, marks the missed days off and moves every course forward from the next school day. You see a preview first, and Undo puts it back.

Can I plan the whole year at once?

Yes. Plan the year fills every week to the end of your school year, and Plan next week does one week at a time. Either way, you can still move or change any lesson.

What if we take a break we didn't plan?

Add the break to your school calendar. Yezbi shows the lessons that would land on it and moves them off when you say so.
