Yezbi Homeschool

The homeschool planner that works with your curriculum and bends with real life

Plan each child's week from what you already teach, keep going after the days that don't go to plan, and fill the week with books, videos, projects and outings that fit.

Plan a week that fits your family

See the day, the week or the month, by time or by child. Move things where they belong, and keep fixed appointments where they are.

  • Drag lessons to a new time or day, or set an exact time. Locked times stay put.
  • Plan next week, copy last week, fill in from a course or lay out the whole year.
  • Type a plan in plain words, like "library trip Tuesday at 10", and Yezbi drafts it for you to check.
  • Give the week a theme to tie lessons and extras together.
  • See your other calendars beside the plan, and share a private calendar link of your own.
  • Undo and redo your recent changes.

When life happens, the plan keeps up

Every homeschool has sick days, surprise visitors and weeks that fall apart. Yezbi shows you what will change, lets you choose, and lets you take it back.

  • Life happened: preview the change, then push lessons forward, move them to the next school day or skip them.
  • Catching up after missed days: Today shows where each child left off, and each course picks up from the next school day.
  • Finished early? Pull the next lesson into today.
  • Breaks and holidays: add a break to the school calendar and move the lessons off it.
  • Routines that don't pile up as late work when a day is missed.

Start with the curriculum you already use

You shouldn't have to retype a curriculum to plan with it.

More than 160 ready-made programs

Pick from a catalog of faith-based and secular curricula, with a simple All, Faith-based or Secular filter. Each child gets their own starting point and pace.

Or add your own

Paste a list of lessons, or snap a photo of a table of contents and check what Yezbi read before anything is saved.

Not sure where to start?

Yezbi Placement offers a short, parent-guided check of reading, spelling, writing and math to help you choose levels.

Discover what fits this week

Suggestions follow your children's lessons and the week's theme, and each one tells you why it's there.

  • Books, including ones already on your shelves in Yezbi Bookshelf.
  • Reviewed videos from Yezbi Kids Videos, and documentaries on your own streaming services as Yezbi Movie Night opens.
  • Hands-on project guides with supply lists.
  • Local events, in Northwest Arkansas today, with more regions on the way.
  • Tell Yezbi "more like this" or "less like this", and save ideas for later.

Everything else a homeschool week needs

Records

Attendance, a portfolio where you pick the best samples (one from each month is a good start), optional grades, a reading log and uploads. Print or export any of it.

A kids view

A picture checklist for little ones, a reader checklist or a student planner for older children, with timers, one-at-a-time mode and a photo or note sent to you for review. Leaving it takes your PIN.

Chores and rewards

A chore board for each child by time of day, with taking turns, up-for-grabs jobs and approvals. Stars stay off until you turn them on for a child.

Meals and shopping

A weekly meal plan, recipes that scale, a cooking view and shopping lists sorted by aisle.

A family display

Pair a tablet as a family board that shows the day for everyone. It's protected by your PIN and dims at night.

Friends, privately

Make private circles with families you know, share an event with them and invite friends who aren't on Yezbi yet. There's no public feed and no strangers.

Coming next

These are on our roadmap. They're not available yet, and plans can change. We'll only call a feature available once it's live.

Two-way calendar sync

Keep Yezbi and Google Calendar, then other popular calendars, in step both ways.

Local events in more places

Events beyond Northwest Arkansas, region by region.

Field trips and programs

Find places to visit and recurring classes, teams and clubs near you, with sign-up reminders.

A project creator

Turn this week's lessons, or your own idea, into a hands-on project or worksheet you review first.

Phone apps

Yezbi Homeschool for Android phones and iPhones. Today it runs in your phone's web browser.

Questions parents ask

Do I have to use a curriculum from your list?

No. The ready-made programs save typing, but you can add your own lessons by pasting a list or taking a photo of a table of contents. Many families mix both.

We missed a whole week. Now what?

Today shows where each child left off. Yezbi treats the missed days as days off and picks each course up from the next school day. You see a preview first, and you can undo it.

Is Yezbi for faith-based or secular families?

Both. The catalog includes faith-based and secular programs, with a filter for each. Yezbi works with whichever curriculum your family chooses.

What ages is it for?

The kids view is designed for children about 3 to 12, from picture checklists for pre-readers to a reader checklist. Older students can use the student planner.

Do my children need accounts?

No. A parent signs in and sets up each child's screen. Children use the kids view on a device you choose, and leaving it takes your PIN.

Does Yezbi use AI?

A few features use AI to help grown-ups: reading a photo of a table of contents, suggesting books for a theme and estimating the ages a local event suits. Many of the project guides were drafted with AI help. Nothing a child types or searches is sent to AI, and a family setting turns AI help off.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, in your phone's web browser. Most parents plan the week on a laptop and check the day on their phone. Phone apps are on our roadmap.

What does it cost?

During the founding-family beta, families join by invitation. We'll post pricing on this site before Yezbi opens to everyone.

Can I get my information out?

Yes. You can download your family's data at any time, and print or export your records.
