Help and answers

The questions parents ask most. Can't find yours? Email support@yezbi.com and a real person will answer, usually within two business days.

Getting started

Can I look around before I sign up?

Yes. The sample family is a made-up family in the real app. It needs no account, and nothing you do there is sent anywhere.

How do I join?

During the founding-family beta, families join by invitation. Email us with the curriculum you use, and we'll help you get started.

Do my children need accounts?

No. A parent signs in and plans. Children never sign up or sign in on their own; they see their day on the family display and tap done.

Planning

Does it work with my curriculum?

More than 150 programs, faith-based and secular, are built in and ready to schedule. If yours isn't one of them, add your own lessons by pasting a list or taking a photo of the table of contents, then check what Yezbi read before anything is saved.

We missed a whole week. Now what?

Catch up shows where each child left off, marks the missed days off and moves every course forward from the next school day. You see a preview first, and Undo puts it back.

Can each child go at their own pace?

Yes. Each child has their own starting point and pace for each course, and you can see whether they're on track or behind and when they'll finish.

Does it show my other calendars?

Yes, your other calendars show alongside Yezbi's, and you can share a private link to Yezbi's calendar. Two-way sync with Google Calendar is built and turns on once Google finishes reviewing Yezbi.

Discover

How does Yezbi choose suggestions?

Discover follows your children's lessons and the week's theme, and each pick says why it's there. Say "more like this" or "less like this" to steer it, and add any pick to a day.

Where do the videos open?

On a grown-up's device, on YouTube.

Records

What records does Yezbi keep?

Attendance counts itself from finished lessons and logged time. Grades are there if you want them, plus a reading log, a scrapbook of each child's work and a portfolio you can print or save.

Can I get my information out?

Yes. The family owner can download your family's data at any time in Settings › Privacy & Data, and you can print or export your records.

The family display

Do I need to buy a special screen?

No. Any tablet can be the family display. In Yezbi, open Settings › Family display to pair it, and Help in the app has a guide to setting up the tablet. Add Yezbi to your phone explains installing it.

Can my children use AI on the display?

Ask, the grown-ups' AI helper, is on the family display unless you turn it off in that display's settings. If a child types in it there, what they type goes to our AI provider like a grown-up's words, with names replaced.

Children and privacy

How does parent permission work?

A parent asks for it in Family settings › Parental permission, receives our notice by email, agrees from that email, and gets a second email about a day later confirming it. Until then, nothing your children do on the display is saved. The full steps.

Do you sell our information or show ads?

No. We never sell or rent personal information, never share it for targeted advertising, and never let companies use it to train AI. We show no ads of our own.

Can I turn AI off?

Yes. AI help is on unless you turn it off, and the family owner can switch it off for the whole family at any time in Family settings.

Plans and billing

What does Yezbi cost?

One plan with everything, for the whole family: $99 a year or $9.99 a month. First month free. No credit card to start. Then $99 a year or $9.99 a month, renewing automatically until you cancel. Cancel online any time.

How do cancelling and refunds work?

Your plan, cancelling and refunds quotes our Terms word for word.

Phones and devices

Is there an app in the app stores?

Not yet; Yezbi in Google Play and the Apple App Store is coming. Today it runs in your web browser, and you can add it to your phone's home screen, where it keeps itself up to date.

Which devices does it work on?

Phones, tablets and computers, in the web browser.
