Each child's day, on any tablet

Pair any tablet as the family's shared screen. It shows the day for everyone, and each child's own day as big picture cards to tap done. No special device to buy.

A made-up family in the real app. No account needed, and nothing is sent anywhere.

One screen the whole family can see

A big clock, this week's theme, and a column for each child with the day's lessons, activities and chores.

  • Children check off their own lessons and chores as big picture cards.
  • A child's checklist has timers, a one-at-a-time mode and a cheer when everything's done.
  • The picture checklists are designed for about ages 3 to 12.
  • You choose what the display shows. Chores and the week's meals have their own pages there, and the lists you pick show read-only.
  • Your state's homeschool deadlines show as all-day rows, with their dates.
  • A + button opens Ask Yezbi where it's on, and Discover after a parent's PIN.
  • Ask Yezbi, the grown-ups' AI helper, works on the display once a parent has given permission, and it's on there unless you turn it off in the display's settings. Anyone at the display, a child included, can type in it or talk to it, and what's typed or said goes to our AI provider, Anthropic, with your family's first names. A recording is turned into words on our host Cloudflare's own network first, deleted as soon as that's done and never kept.
Yezbi's family display for a made-up family: a big clock, this week's theme, and a column for each of four children with the day's lessons, activities and chores.
The family display: each child's day, on any tablet. The real app, with a made-up family; course names simplified.

Calm when nobody's using it

The display sits on the wall or the counter all day, so it's made to stay out of the way.

A photo frame

Family photos when nobody's using it, with the photos kept on the tablet.

A privacy cover and a night setting

Cover the screen when company comes, and let it dim or go dark at night.

A PIN for the grown-up side

Children see their day. A family PIN keeps the grown-up side closed.

Coming, not yet available: photos from Google Photos for the photo frame, and a Yezbi display of our own for families who'd rather not set up a tablet.

How it works

  1. Set a family PIN

In Yezbi, open Settings › Family display and set the PIN that keeps the grown-up side closed.

  2. Start it on the tablet

Pair any tablet from the same page. Help in the app has a guide to setting up the tablet.

  3. Put it where everyone sees it

On the wall or the counter. Children see their day and tap done, and you plan from your own phone or computer.

Questions about the family display

Do I need to buy a special screen?

No. Any tablet can be the family display. In Yezbi, open Settings › Family display to pair it, and Help in the app has a guide to setting up the tablet.

Do my children need accounts?

No. A parent signs in and plans. Children see their day on the family display and tap done.

What ages is it for?

The picture checklists are designed for about ages 3 to 12. Yezbi Homeschool itself is for the parents.

Can my children use AI on the display?

Ask Yezbi, the grown-ups' AI helper, works on the family display once a parent has given permission, and it's on there unless you turn it off in that display's settings. If a child types in it or talks to it there, what they type or say goes to our AI provider like a grown-up's words, with your family's first names. A recording is turned into words first and never kept. Children have no AI chat of their own.

Where are the photo frame's photos kept?

On the tablet. Choosing them from Google Photos is coming, once Google finishes reviewing Yezbi.

What about my children's information?

Children never sign up or sign in on their own, and we ask a parent's permission before we save anything a child does. How we keep children's information safe.
