The calendar
Add an event once or repeating, with a place, a reminder or all day. Change its day, time or people, copy it to another day, add a note or a link, or take it off.
Ask Yezbi is the grown-ups' AI helper in Yezbi Homeschool. Type what you need, or tap the microphone and say it, and it turns your words into one of the app's own actions, such as an event, a meal or a list item, or answers a question about your family's plan.
Ask Yezbi works with what's already in Yezbi: your calendar, lessons, meals, lists and chores.
Examples with a made-up family.
Ask Yezbi does the things you can already do in the app, without finding the screen first.
Add an event once or repeating, with a place, a reminder or all day. Change its day, time or people, copy it to another day, add a note or a link, or take it off.
Mark a lesson done, or a child's whole day when they finished everything. Skip one, set a course schedule, plan next week, add a break, catch up, space out a day or week, set up reading time for a book, or log a book a child read.
Plan a meal or a week of dinners from your favorites, find recipes from what you have, put a recipe's ingredients on the shopping list, add list items, add a chore for a child or a grown-up, or give stars.
Find local events for some of your children over the next few days, save a field trip, or put an activity's season on the calendar.
What's planned, what's for dinner, a child's school days and hours this year, the lesson they're on, or your state's next deadlines, from your family's own information. "How do I…?" is answered from Yezbi's own guide, with a link, and it can open a screen you name.
It doesn't change your account, password or subscription, see the family PIN, add or remove people, send or share anything, turn its own AI on or off, or open grades and learning notes.
Tap the microphone and say what you'd type. The recording goes to a speech-to-text service on our host Cloudflare's own network, only to turn it into words. It's deleted as soon as that's done, and we never keep it. The words then go to Ask Yezbi like typed ones.
When a question needs the web, Ask Yezbi may offer to look it up. It searches only if someone says yes, with a short search that has no names or family details. Anthropic runs the search through its search provider. We keep only how many searches your family ran and what they cost, never what was searched.
AI can make mistakes. Check important details. The Yezbi Privacy Policy has the full details.
Ask Yezbi works on the family display only after a parent has given permission. Then it's on unless you turn it off in the display's settings.
Anyone at the display, a child included, can type in it or talk to it. It works as the parent who set up the display, so what's typed or said there goes to our AI provider, Anthropic, with your family's first names, as above. A recording is turned into words first and never kept, and we don't keep the words.
In everyday words, as you'd tell another grown-up in the house. Tap the microphone to say it. Several things in one message are fine.
Ask Yezbi shows what it will do. Tap Add or Apply, or change your words.
Changes are saved like anything you add yourself, and Undo takes them back.
Anthropic's Claude, as our service provider. Anthropic may not train AI on what we send.
Their first names, yes, so it knows who's meant when you write "Ava has piano Friday". It never gets last names, emails, birth dates, ages or notes. Our other AI features, such as book picks for a theme, get children's names replaced with stand-ins such as "Child 1".
No. We don't keep Ask Yezbi conversations. Anthropic deletes them within 30 days, or keeps them up to 2 years if its safety systems flag one. If Ask Yezbi adds something to your plan, it's saved like anything you add yourself.
On the family display, once a parent has given permission, Ask Yezbi is on unless you turn it off in that display's settings. Anyone at the display, a child included, can type in it or talk to it, and what's typed or said goes to our AI provider with your family's first names. A recording is turned into words first and never kept. Children have no AI chat of their own.
Yes. Turn it off on a family display in that display's settings, or the family owner can switch AI help off for the whole family in Family settings.
No. Ask Yezbi is part of the one plan, with a monthly AI allowance for each family. See pricing.
